The primary aim of
my seminars is to help people change the way they deal with unruly people.
We can typically manage 95% of the people we meet
pretty well. The reason is simple: most people are quite polite. It is that
5% that gives us 5 minutes of anything from annoying hassle ... right
through the range ... to outright fear for our personal safety. Some people
might end up looking over their shoulder for the next week. Now 5% may not
seem like much, but some of us have to meet and deal with a great many
people daily, and over the course of a week, depending upon the
circumstances, we may end up facing off to any number of really upsetting
encounters.
Consider some typical jobs:
Teachers, doctors and nurses, traffic wardens, sales staff, bank tellers,
librarians, police, ambulance workers, bus drivers, taxi drivers, and so on.
Think how many people they meet everyday. One bad encounter can ruin their
whole day or even their whole week. What is certain is that they will have
some unpleasant encounters. The purpose of my seminars is to help people
deal with what happens and to end up better off in spite of it.
You will learn how to deal
with situations
Seminars
The Half Day Seminar
lasts about three hours. We will discuss possible situations and solutions.
We will practice a range of scenarios and the aim is to come up with
strategies that suit your particular working environment. There will be a
small segment on practical self-defence - how to extricate your self from
strong grips.
The All Day Seminar is
six hours (times are flexible to suit your needs). As
above, with more time spent on each activity, with an extended period of
simple practical self-defence.
