name Tempered Resolutions
comes from my personal philosophy, which I stole from
the ancient Greeks.
It is said that wisdom comes from
life experience and cannot be learned or studied from a book. So, What is
wisdom?
 | Knowledge is a kind of wisdom.
Once we have acquired correct knowledge through diligent study we are ready to
make our decision. |
| Decision is a kind of wisdom. It
can be difficult to make a major decision thus it needs to be based on sound
knowledge. |
| Courage is a kind of wisdom. We
need courage to make important decisions. Once the decision has been made, we
require temperance. |
| Temperance is a kind of wisdom.
We require temperance to carry our decision through to completion without
giving up. |
Wisdom cannot be defined as any
single entity but is rather the harmonious use of our full capacity to produce
beneficial results.
